Nothing says summer like a weekend barbecue, right?
Well, if you’ve got a hankering for hot dogs and a soft spot for animals, a Prince George business has got you covered.
Great White Toys, Comics, and Games is firing up the grill this weekend, barbecuing hot dogs and collecting donations for the North Cariboo and District branch of the B.C SPCA.
This is the second year in a row the toy shop has hosted the fundraiser.
Food will be for sale by donation, plus, if you take a selfie with the business’ mascots, Great White will donate an additional $5 to the SPCA.
If hot dogs aren’t your favourite, there will also be a pet food drive for the animal care centre.
You can even win a Great White prize for bringing such a donation.
The barbecue is taking place this Saturday (July 20) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the store in the Spruceland Mall.
