If you miss going out to local comedy and arts events around Prince George, you’ll want to tune into a Friday Fundraising Facebook Show.
Omineca Arts Centre, Gypsy Entertainment Group and Atmosphere Entertainment are going LIVE with their new late-night talk program: Off the Rails Comedy Show!
Organizers say the event, which takes place April 30 from 7 to 9 p.m. on Facebook LIVE, was born out of a desperate need for self-expression and a drive to survive the third wave.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Omineca Arts Centre was known for throwing multiple events including concerts and comedy shows.
Off the Rails Comedy Show will be by donation, benefiting the facility as its programing has been impacted by the pandemic.
The event will follow a late-night talk show style featuring five comedians and 10 musical acts, with door prizes, a 50/50 raffle and a ton of laughs.
