Some good news for Hart region residents who frequent the Nechako Branch of the Prince George Public Library (PGPL).
The location is set to re-open this Wednesday (July 22) and will also move on to the PGPL’s next phase of its re-opening plan as the COVID-19 pandemic continues, but a date to re-open the Bob Harkins Branch has yet to be confirmed.
Phase Three is set to provide limited access to the Nechako Branch, located at 6547 John Hart Hwy., with some amenities for those wishing to come back, but are also being asked to keep visits as brief as possible to avoid the potential spread of the virus.
A curbside holds pick-up service will still be available, however, seating has been removed from inside the Nechako Branch, children’s computers will not be available for use and the multi-purpose room will be closed for the time being.
Some computer stations will be open to meet physical-distancing requirements and library staff will not be permitted to handle patrons’ devices or personal items when offering technical assistance.
The PGPL Nechako Branch will be open at the following times:
- Monday to Thursday = 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Friday = 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday = Closed
