Prince George shed fire results in damage worth $10,000

One person is safe and no firefighter was harmed in responding to a blaze in Prince George last night (March 26).

Around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, crews responded to a reported fire in the Hart region where they found a 10-foot by 10-foot shed engulfed in flames in the 8500 block, Peter Road.

The result of the damage is an estimated $10,000 after 15 firefighters from three different halls quickly put out the blaze.

One person was inside a mobile home near the shed which saw minor damage, but they got out safely by the time crews arrived on scene.

There were no reported injuries as well to any fire personnel.
