The Central B.C. Railway and Forestry Museum in Prince George is seeking volunteers to help out with its annual Celebration of Lights.

The Celebration of Lights features 150,000 Christmas lights decorating the eight-acre park. Volunteers are needed for the event, which runs Dec. 18-23 from 4-8 p.m and again on Dec 27-30 from 4-8 p.m.

The volunteer opportunities include:

Minitrain Operations: Engineer/Conductor (requires training)/ ticket taker and managing line up.

Supervising bonfires and warming station - this may require preparing kindling and chopping firewood.

Concession - taking food tickets and serving food and hot chocolate.

Front Entrance - helping to guide guests to the appropriate line (prepaid/pay at the door and where to exit).

Gallery - helping to keep the gallery space and restrooms clean.

If you can help out, email Kathy Carlson at the railway museum.
