Prince George RCMP’s street crew unit seized a significant amount of money and a quantity of illicit drugs from a Quinson neighbourhood home earlier this month.
The plain clothes crew executed a search warrant on a 400-block Kelly Street home on Feb. 2 and came away with a sizable amount of what appeared to be cocaine and over $15,000 in cash, "which is consistent with drug trafficking," RCMP said.
Two people were arrested and later released pending results of the investigation. Both the home and the suspects are known to police, RCMP added.
"The street crew unit remains committed to targeting those who continue to bring harm and violence to our city," Sgt. Chad Chamberlain said in a statement.
