Dream Home tickets may have sold out, but you can still get yourself, or someone special to you, a 50/50 ticket.
The third early-bird prize draw in this year’s Prince George Hospice Dream Home Lottery is right around the corner.
On Friday (Oct. 23), someone will win the third 2020 prize, which is 50 tickets for the Hospice’s second 50/50 draw.
As of Monday (Oct. 19), the take-home jackpot currently sits at $35,850.
However, there’s potential for the jackpot to reach up to $150,000 if all the tickets sell out.
The second 50/50 winner will be selected on Dec. 24, the same day as the Dream Home draw, but Friday’s early-bird draw will give someone an even greater chance to win.
Cut‑off time for all draws is 12 p.m. the day of the draw, to which the winner will be selected at 6 p.m. at the Dream Home.
Hospice Dream Home’s first 50/50 draw took place on Sept. 25 and saw local resident Lauraine Biech walk away with $150,000.
The 50 tickets for the second 50/50 draw are courtesy of Royal LePage, valued at $1,250.
Barb Osten and Valerie Sinclair won the first early bird draw of 50 50/50 tickets on July 31, then Dean Martin won a Woodward Patio Chair Set and Weber Barbeque on Aug. 28.
The fourth early-bird draw, which takes place on Nov. 20, will be for a Mercury Inflatable Boat Package.
The 2020 Dream Home, valued at more than $700,000, is located at 3955 Larisa Ct. in the Nechako View Subdivision, features five bedrooms plus an office, four bathrooms, five brand-new appliances and about 3,390 sq. ft. of spacious modern living.
The winner for the Dream Home will be drawn on Dec. 24, 2020.
