A Prince George couple will recount this evening their trip to see the solar eclipse as it crossed the United States this summer.

The presentation, put on by Mike Nash and Judy Lett, is set for Artspace, above Books and Company, 1685 Third Ave., 7 p.m. start.

In August, they travelled through Oregon, Idaho and Wyoming to reach their destination, camping and hiking in some of the country's premier national parks along the way.

The eclipse, created when the moon crosses between the earth and the sun, lasted just 90 seconds and drew throngs of onlookers to key viewing spots.

Nash and Lett will also present images and experiences of a sea-kayaking trip in the northern Gulf Islands and an early-season backpack of the Skyline Trail in Jasper National Park.
