Two men have been released pending charge approvals after they were arrested this morning (April 18) for drug and firearms possession.

Prince George RCMP executed a search warrant at a home on 2100-block, Spruce St. under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

A release says police seized several grams of meth and suspected fentanyl, along with a pair of firearms, a prohibited magazine and some cash.

One of the arrested suspects had an outstanding warrant to his name and was released with a pending court date.

The other was also released and is currently waiting for charge approval from the Federal Prosecution Service of Canada.
