A 35-year-old Prince George man was viciously assaulted with a blunt object and was struck in the head several times at about 11 p.m. Monday at the corner of Fifth and Harper Street.
The man was sent to Vancouver General hospital in serious condition with injuries considered life threatening.
Two individuals were arrested and released without charges.
