D.P. Todd is the place to be this weekend for the region's top senior girls basketball teams.
The Northern Classic, an eight-team high school tournament, takes to the floor starting Friday afternoon, with the host Trojans taking on the Prince George secondary school Polars in the opener at 2:30 p.m.
The Cedars Christian Eagles will face the College Heights Cougars at 4:15, the Kelly Road Roadrunners will run with the Nechako Valley Viqueens at 6 p.m., and the Duchess Park Condors tangle with Houston Christian in a game slated to tip off at 7:45 p.m.
The final is set for Saturday, an 8:45 p.m. start, with the team that wins the tournament needing to be perfect in three games.
