Zack Bundock will have at last two ambitions when he steps on the field with his Prince George Black teammates this weekend in Kelowna.
One will be to collect as many flags from the waists of his opponents as he can. But the main reason he's going down there is to capture the flag as a provincial champion.
"It depends on what talent the other teams have and how they play but we have a very good team and I think we'll do well," said the 11-year-old Bundock. "We've got a speedster -- Jeromy (Frame)."
The other members of the five-player Black team are Noah Williams, Andrew Johnson and Denver Petersen.
P.G. Black and P.G Red will both represent the north region and the Prince George Minor Flag Football League at the provincial 12-and-under championship, while P.G. Blue is entered in the 13-14-year-old age category.
Team Red consists of Connor Rogers, Garrett Cape, Reid Williams, Tucker Marshall and Skyler Roy. Joel Bundock, Tyler Holm, Dustin Betker, TJ Kyriakos, Jacob Frame and Ryan Matters are on the P.G. Blue roster.
