Prince George Kodiaks pick up new defensive coach

Adrien 'AK' Kellman has joined the Prince George Kodiaks as a defensive coach.

The Prince George Kodiaks will head into their second Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL) season with a new defensive coach.

Adrien ‘AK’ Kellman of Montreal is a former university player with the Manitoba Bisons and Vanier College, and played professionally in Europe. He has also coached flag and tackle football at Cegep du Vieux Montréal

“We are excited to welcome Coach Adrien Kellman and his family to Prince George, and the Kodiaks are excited to have him on our team,” Kodiaks head coach Jamie Boreham said. “Coach Kellman is a team player and has been working hard has been working hard to get to know Prince George by assisting with the sponsorships and marketing department.”

The team is seeking sponsors for its 2023 season, and interested businesses or organizations can contact the team at [email protected].

The Kodiaks home opener at Masich Place Stadium is July 29 against the Okanagan Sun. Other home games this year are scheduled for Aug. 12, Aug. 19, Sept. 16 and Sept. 30.

Tickets are $22 each and available through Tickets North. Season passes are $100 each, or $300 for a family pass.
