A Prince George business is closing its kitchen for good.
Dragon Stone Mongolian Grill has confirmed to PrinceGeorgeMatters it's permanently shutting its doors after announcing an immediate cease to operations last month due to COVID-19.
In a March 19 Facebook post, the company said it was continually monitoring the situation and after realizing dining-in wasn't an option, it couldn't maintain services with minimal orders.
"Beyond everything, the health and safety of our outstanding staff comes first."
The post finished by the company asking residents to support local businesses the best they can during the ongoing pandemic.
"Hopefully we will see everyone after this comes to a conclusion," the post concluded.
The restaurant confirmed yesterday (April 16) in a message it "unfortunately won't be reopening."
Dragon Stone now joins other local businesses with recent permanent closures.
CrossFit Prince George also announced this week it was closing due to the ongoing uncertainty from COVID-19 and the many unknowns.
