Drive BC says Highway 16 is now open to single-lane alternating traffic east of Prince George.
A vehicle incident this morning (Nov. 5) closed the stretch near the West Twin Creek bridge completely, but has opened roughly one hour later.
No other detours are available, so commuters are being asked to drive slowly and watch for traffic control with the delays.
Earlier today, Prince George RCMP responded to two collisions on Highway 16 west and while no injuries were reported, one person was transported to hospital.
Mounties continue to warn drivers to be aware of changing road conditions and to take extra precautions due to the continued drop in temperatures this time of year.
