Don’t worry, there are no spoilers here!
But, for the 0.01 per cent of you in Prince George who haven’t seen two of 2019’s biggest movies, here’s a chance to watch them both on a bigger screen.
In an unexpected surprise for local moviegoers and fans, the Park Drive-In is putting together a Marvel Studios’ super-team by playing Avengers: Endgame and Captain Marvel for the May long weekend.
The outdoor theatre made the announcement on social media earlier this week that the heroes will assemble on the facility’s 3,200 sq ft. screen, the largest in northern B.C.
Both blockbusters will be played on Friday (May 17), Saturday (May 18), and Sunday (May 19) starting at 9:30 p.m. each night.
Doors will open at 8 p.m. as usual.
Avengers: Endgame is currently 2019’s biggest grossing film worldwide, bringing in close to $2.5 billion as of yesterday (May 14) since it hit the screens on April 26.
The movie brought in hundreds of Prince George residents on opening night at the city’s Cineplex Theatre.
Endgame will remain at the Park Drive-In the following weekend of May 24 to 26.
Captain Marvel came out on Mar. 8 and is already out of theatres, but stands in second place for the year with almost $1.125 million.
Via social media, local residents are hoping the theatre will show Captain Marvel first as it was released before Endgame.
So, who will you assemble to see these two movies back-to-back?
