Despite COVID-19 restricting numerous events, you'll still be able to find some Christmas cheer.
Northern Lights Estate Winery will be doing its third Annual "Light Up The Orchard" event, but will be implementing a different format this year.
The winery says there will be several features during a walking tour.
If you're interested in attending, the event runs from Nov. 16 to Jan. 3, and admission and reservations must be done online prior to arriving at the winery.
Times available are between 4:30 and 8:30 p.m.
Admission prices are as follows:
- Ages 1-12
- $3 plus GST and platform processing fee (includes hot chocolate and a treat)
- Ages 13 and up
- $6 plus GST and platform processing fee (ages 13-18 includes hot chocolate and a treat, anyone 19+ receives $3 off a wine bottle purchase from the wine shop)
There will be the following safety protocols and guidelines during the event:
- Admission fees will be based on a pre-selected time frame and allows you to enjoy the winery scenery for 20 minutes
- The winery will not allow entrance past your ticketed start time if you miss your time frame
- Please refrain from entering the winery unless you are visiting the bistro or wine shop. There will be an option to buy wine when leaving
- Groups no larger than six people
- Masks/face coverings are encouraged
- Groups will not be allowed to congregate after the tour is finished due to the winery Health and Safety Plan
Should the event be cancelled due to COVID-19, admission fees will be refunded but the platform processing fee will be kept.
